International Girls’ in ICT Day, an initiative that empowers and encourages girls and young women to consider careers in the growing field of information and communication technologies (ICTs), will take place on April 25th.

As part of the initiative Intel Ireland is giving away three Motorola RAZRi phones, with Intel inside, valued at €400 each for our Girls in ICT competition. The competition will begin on Monday April 8th and will continue until Friday April 26th.

 

To be in with a chance of winning a Motorola RAZRi phone;

  • Simply follow the Intel Ireland Twitter feed (@Intel_IRL) and answer the question we post on Monday April 8th and Monday April 22nd, be sure to use the #IRLGirlsinICT hashtag in each answer so that we can track your entry.
  • Or you can enter via Facebook on Monday April 15th by liking the Intel Ireland page and answering (through comment) the question posted as a status update.

The Prizes

To Enter

The competition will begin on 08/04/2013 and finish on 26/04/2013. Each Monday of the competition a question will be posted on either the Intel Ireland Twitter account or on the Intel Ireland Facebook page. You will then have until 3.00pm on the Friday of that week to answer the question before the winner is announced at 5.00pm. One winner will be chosen at random from the correct entries received by an Intel representative.

  • Question 1 will be posted to Twitter on Monday April 8th, all answers to be received by 3.00pm on Friday April 12th.
  • Question 2 will be posted to Facebook on Monday April 15th, all answers to be received by 3.00pm on Friday April 19th.
  • Question 1 will be posted to Twitter on Monday April 22nd, all answers to be received by 3.00pm on Friday April 26th.


This prize draw is open to residents of the Republic of Ireland over the age of 18. Employees of Intel Corporation, their agencies and their families, are not permitted to enter. There is no cash alternative and the prizes are not transferrable. Mass entries from a single IP address will be disqualified. The winners may be required to take part in publicity photographs after the competition. The judge’s decision is final. The winning gift vouchers will be posted by registered post to the address provided and Intel cannot accept any responsibility for vouchers lost or defaced.
