Intel is teaming up with basketball star LeBron James -- not on the court, but on the Internet. The Miami Heat forward and reigning NBA most valuable player is launching a new animated family show, “The LeBrons,” which is planned for a spring debut on its own YouTube channel and James’ website, lebronjames.com. A portion of the proceeds from the series will be used to purchase HP computers powered by Intel® Core™ processors, to be donated to Boys & Girls Clubs of America in support of its education initiatives. As a lead technology sponsor, Intel provided technology enabling the development and production of the show, which over the course of 10 episodes will relay a series of positive, family-friendly messages.
