Phase 2 of the Intel Perceptual Computing Challenge is now open to application developers in 16 countries for the opportunity to win prizes worth more than $800,000. The competition calls on developers to use the Intel Perceptual Computing SDK to create new and innovative applications or games that integrate voice control, gesture control, facial recognition or augmented reality. Developers can submit applications in one of four categories: perceptual computing, productivity, creative user interfaces and open innovation. Submissions for Phase 2 are open until September.
