Intel President Renée James was keynote speaker at The Committee of 200 (C200) Foundation’s STEM Reachout to encourage girls and women to pursue an education in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) today. James highlighted Intel programs designed to foster girls’ interest in STEM, and outlined the need for a new approach that builds upon the investment from industry and academia. C200, an invitation-only membership organization composed of the world’s most successful female entrepreneurs and corporate leaders, recently awarded James its STEM Innovator Luminary Award for exemplifying unique vision and success in STEM industries.
