Chip Shot: HP Introduces Stream Line Tablets Based on Intel for Holidays

HP unveiled the Stream 7 and Stream 8 tablets, two new Intel-powered tablets that will be available for the holiday season. The cloud-connected, Windows 8.1 tablets will run on Intel® Atom™ processor Z3700 series and include 1TB of Microsoft’s OneDrive storage as well as a one-year Microsoft Office 365 Personal subscription and 60 minutes of Skype credit per month. The Stream 8 tablet is equipped with 200 MB of no-contract 4G data. Unique features include a customizable Start screen, multi-user built in support and HP Connected apps that conveniently locate and bring  together digital content from multiple sources all in one place. Expected to be available for the holiday season, the 7- and 8-inch Stream tablets will be priced at $99.99 and $149.99 respectively.
