Chip Shot: Intel and Want Grandparents to Get Connected

Did you know that in the United States, 47 percent of grandparents aren’t online? Intel has partnered with, one of the largest organizations in the U.S. for teens and social change, to help increase that number and get more seniors connected. Called “Grandparents Gone Wired”, the program encourages young people to teach older adults how to use technology, in turn helping them connect with their family and friends. Virtual video comedian, YouTube personality and star of MTV’s “Awkward” iJustine is helping Intel and spread the word. Participants can share stories to win a $5,000 scholarship, a new Intel Ultrabook™ or an Intel-based tablet. All the details can be found at
