Chosen from more than 500 companies, this annual list recognizes the top innovators revolutionizing the business landscape. MongoDB (derived from “humongous”) is living up to its name, disrupting the database market by processing humongous data sets at great speed. Nexmo, which lets businesses reach customers through phone messages, is shaking up the mobile, software and telecom industries with 5 billion users in 200 countries across a network of 700 mobile operators.
