To further its commitment to the Android community, Intel today announced an extension to its Code for Good program aimed at solving social issues through software-based solutions. As part of the program, Intel is donating up to USD $45,000 to three notable non-profits, including Code.Org, codeclub.org.uk and GirlsWhoCode.com, which are focused on helping the software developer community through ongoing education and technical programs. Intel will donate $1 for every @intelsoftware retweet about Code for Good starting at 10 a.m. PT. The campaign is hosted on the Android Developer Field Guide, a site that offers developers immediate and free access to Intel tools and online resources to ideate, design, build and launch Android apps. Available tools include Intel® Integrated Native Developer Experience and the Intel® XDK HTML5 Cross-platform Development Tool. To get involved in the Code for Good campaign, follow and retweet related posts from @intelsoftware. Get more information on the campaign and Android Developer Field Guide.
