Chip Shot: Intel Inspires Innovation at Maker Faire

At this weekend’s Bay Area Maker Faire, Intel will demonstrate the power of Intel® Galileo, the first Intel® architecture-based board designed to accelerate innovation within the maker community. Attendees will participate in hands-on learning activities and discover how to bring Intel® Galileo-powered projects to life. Earlier in the week, Intel Vice President of New Devices Group Mike Bell will keynote the first annual MakerCon, and Intel will host MakerEd “Making Possibilities” Workshop at the company’s headquarters for educators to learn how to integrate making into K-12 curriculum. Through these events, Intel aims to encourage makers of all ages to explore the possibilities of creating with technology.
