Chip Shot: Intel ‘Make It Wearable’ Challenge Winner Announced

An invisible tattoo containing and regularly updating a person’s medical history: it’s the winning idea by Mael Flament – a student, maker and DIY enthusiast from the US – in round 2 of the Intel “Make It Wearable” challenge Visionary Track. Awarded $5,000 for his effort, he was also a finalist in round 1 with his imaginative wellness garment, the Peltier Jacket, that would harness the power of the human body to charge mobile devices. The Visionary Track calls for video submissions as part of the global challenge and encourages the development and creation of innovative wearable devices.
