Today, Google introduced the next-generation Samsung Chromebook and Chromebox. Both are based on Intel® Core™ processors, making it even easier for people to work and live in the cloud. Chrome OS is another example of Intel’s unique software strategy to support multiple operating systems that run best on Intel architecture, increasing user choice. As one of the largest contributors to open source, Intel continues to work closely with Google and our OEM partners to help optimize and deliver Chrome devices. With options for Chrome devices ranging from Intel® Atom™ to Intel Core processors, consumers can expect to see additional OEM designs later this year.
