Intel New Mexico is home to 1,800 employees and Fab 11X, Intel’s first 300-millimeter fabrication plant.
Intel moved into the Enchantment state when it planted Fab 7 on a former Rio Rancho sod farm in 1980. Since then, Intel has invested more than $16 billion in New Mexico and grown to be its largest industrial employer.
