Intel’s Components Research (CR) group is comprised of 105 scientists and engineers who create the revolutionary process and package technologies to keep Moore’s Law moving. The team looks for new ways to improve transistor and system performance, and to overcome the problems of physics that arise as chips’ features shrink closer to the atomic scale. They invent exotic materials to create the extremely thin layers that make up a computer chip. B-Roll includes CR’s chemical synthesis lab, pulsed laser deposition tool and quantum computer lab. Total B-Roll length: 3:01 (Credit: Intel Corporation)
