In late September, 2025, Intel held its fourth annual Intel Tech Tour in Arizona to preview new technology and offer a first look at the company’s Fab 52 facility.

Intel introduced the Intel® Core™ Ultra series 3 processors (code-named Panther Lake) and gave a first look at Intel® Xeon® 6+ (code-named Clearwater Forest), both built on Intel 18A. Intel 18A is the most advanced semiconductor node developed and manufactured in the United States. Both Panther Lake and Clearwater Forest, as well as multiple generations of products built on Intel 18A, are being manufactured at Fab 52, Intel’s new, state-of-the-art factory in Chandler, Arizona

A closer look at Fab 52

Intel Arizona's Fab 52 is Intel’s fifth high-volume fab at its Ocotillo campus. This facility will produce the most advanced logic chips in the United States and is part of the more than $100 billion Intel is investing to expand its domestic operations.

On October 6, Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan visited Fab 52 to meet with manufacturing leaders, including Zivit Katz-Tsameret, Vice President, Intel Foundry Manufacturing and Supply Chain, Factory Manager.
