Michael (Mike) Hurley

Senior Vice President — General Manager, Silicon and Platform Engineering

Mike Hurley is a senior vice president and general manager of the Silicon and Platform Engineering Group at Intel Corporation. He is responsible for delivering system-on-chip (SoCs) and platforms to the Client and Edge businesses, from definition to high-volume manufacturing. In addition, he is responsible for delivering x86 Cores to all Intel business segments.

Mike has more than 30 years of semiconductor experience. Since joining Intel, he has held numerous engineering leadership roles in hardware and firmware design spanning IP and SoC development. He has led the development of more than 60 SoCs for Client, Data Center, Embedded and Communications. He previously led a Soft IP organization responsible for multiple IP technology transitions in domains such as IO, security and compute.

Mike earned his Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Cork Institute of Technology in Ireland, studying both electronics and mechanical engineering, and earned his MBA from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona.
