Srinivasan (Srini) Iyengar
Senior Vice President – General Manager, Central Engineering Group – Intel Fellow
Srinivasan (Srini) Iyengar is senior vice president, fellow and general manager of Intel’s Central Engineering Group. He leads a team dedicated to enhancing how Intel delivers engineering solutions internally and to our customers.
Prior to joining Intel in 2025, Srini was corporate vice president and a fellow at Cadence Design Systems. He led a global silicon engineering team, helping customers develop advanced custom silicon solutions targeting verticals such as hyperscalers, automotives, edge AI and Internet of Things (IoT). Srini led the Top 5 (A, Q, I, M, S & H) customer initiatives, helping CDNS grow its footprint substantially. He started at Cadence in 1998 as a technical account director in Austin, Texas, then served as a distinguished solutions architect until being promoted to vice president in 2015.
Earlier, he was a senior mixed signal circuit engineer at Bell Labs (1995-98), and a foundry engineer at Rockwell Semiconductors (1992-95).
Srini earned a master’s in electrical engineering from Lamar University in 1992 and a bachelor’s in electrical engineering from Bangalore University in 1990.
