Robin Colwell
Senior Vice President of Government Affairs
Robin Colwell is senior vice president of government affairs at Intel Corporation. She leads the company's global engagement with policymakers, regulators and industry leaders to strengthen trust, advance Intel's priorities, and position the company at the intersection of public policy, technology and manufacturing.
Colwell brings extensive experience across the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of government as well as the private sector, with deep expertise in telecommunications, technology, and cybersecurity policy issues. Most recently, she served as deputy assistant to the President and deputy director of the National Economic Council, developing Administration policies across all sectors of the U.S. economy.
Previously, she was a principal with BGR Group's Commerce and Infrastructure Practice, where she provided strategic insights and advocacy on complex telecommunications, technology, and cybersecurity policy issues.
Earlier in her career, Colwell served as special assistant to the President at the White House National Economic Council, developing policy and leading implementation of priorities including broadband deployment, spectrum allocation and domestic supply chain security. She also served as chief counsel for the House Energy & Commerce Committee for Communications and Technology and as chief of staff to Commissioner Michael O'Rielly at the Federal Communications Commission.
Colwell earned a bachelor's degree from Florida State University and a law degree from the College of William & Mary School of Law.
