Annie Shea Weckesser is Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Intel Corporation, reporting directly to the CEO. She leads Intel's global marketing and communications teams, unifying how the company tells its story to customers, employees, investors, and policymakers while ensuring Intel's brand reflects the company's innovation, discipline, and customer-obsessed culture.
Weckesser and her team are responsible for driving Intel's comprehensive marketing and communications strategy across all business segments. She oversees global brand positioning, corporate, technology and employee communications, digital marketing, and events, all in support of Intel’s transformation strategy. Under her leadership, the organization focuses on building reputation, engagement, and demand while strengthening Intel's position as a leader in AI and semiconductor innovation.
Before joining Intel, Weckesser gained extensive experience leading marketing and communications organizations across the technology and AI sectors. Most recently, she served as Chief Marketing Officer at SambaNova, where she led marketing and communications to build the company's reputation, engagement, and demand for its AI platform. Prior to SambaNova, she was Chief Marketing Officer at Uniphore, where she built the brand and helped transform and scale the company's AI platform globally. She also led U.S. marketing and communications at NIO Inc., helping take the electric vehicle company from startup through IPO. Earlier in her career, Weckesser spent nearly a decade at Cisco in global strategic marketing and communications roles.
Throughout her 20-plus year career, Weckesser has counseled and partnered with senior corporate and government leaders, bringing deep expertise across early-stage startups through IPO and large enterprise organizations in both B2B and B2C.
Weckesser earned a bachelor's degree in history and Spanish from Santa Clara University.
