Postcard from CES 2026: Intel Launches Series 3 CPUs With 200+ Laptop Designs Coming

Looking for a new Series 3 laptop? You’ve come to the right place.

Earlier this week at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, Intel launched the Intel® Core Ultra Series 3 processors.

The launch event featured about 24 different AI PC laptops from 15 leading PC OEMs located in Intel’s Tech Showcase center. Each run on Series 3 CPUs built on Intel 18A –it’s the most advanced semiconductor process Intel has ever developed.

The top Series 3 SKUs (stock-keeping units) will deliver up to 60% better multithread performance, over 77% faster gaming performance and up to 27 hours of battery life.

Pre-orders for the first consumer laptops powered by Series 3 CPUs begin this week, with over 200 designs from leading PC OEMs coming later this year.

One Series 3 customer – Brazil-based Positivo Tecnologia – can’t wait to bring these devices to market.

"We are so excited to partner with Intel on the launch of Series 3 and can't wait for our customers to get their hands on our laptops featuring all-new Series 3 processors,” said Hélio Bruck Rotenberg, President of Positivo Tecnologia.

“This is Positivo and Intel truly writing the new chapter in technology together.”
