Each year Intel selects a charity for our employees to dedicate their combined efforts towards. Throughout the year employees provide volunteer time and funds, raised through specially organised activities, to the chosen charity.

For 2024, Intel selected Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland (AADI) as our signature charity.

We are delighted to share that €50,000 was raised this year and was recently presented to the charity. The funds were raised through a variety of fundraising events supported by Intel employees.

For example, in July, Intel hosted a family-friendly dog walk with our employee charity ambassador Mark and his family’s beautiful assistance dog Piper there to lead the way. The walk took place along a dog friendly route in St. Catherine’s Park, with employees taking part along with their families and furry friends. Mark had nominated the charity to be involved in Intel’s Signature Charity Program for 2024 having had a very positive family experience with an assistance dog.

In October, our team came together for a bag-pack event to support the charity. Employees prepared thoughtful goodie bags for foster families and pups in training. These remarkable assistance dogs help empower children and their families to experience the world with more safety and confidence.

In addition to the funds raised, over 1000 hours of employee volunteer time was provided to Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland throughout the year.

Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland provides highly trained assistance dogs that make a world of difference for children with autism. Funds raised through Intel’s partnership will support the charity with the costs of training assistance dogs.
